Kiwix is available as a native application for Android, Linux, Mac OS, iOS and Windows operating systems. #KIWIX DOWNLOAD PATH FULL#This is a lightweight JS-based Kiwix, so it doesn't have as many features as the full client, but on a PC it's super-fast, and you never have to worry about updates. I found out, that after pressing the "Pause download" a green arrow appeared at that location and after pressing that arrow the download resumed.It doesn't work well with Firefox because Firefox on Android (unlike on PC) tries to read the whole ZIM into memory when you pick it. I had to cancel the download and restart from the beginning again. After many hours downloading not quite 7 GB, the program stopped downloading, and I could not start to continue the downloading again. I have not the best broadband connection here in Thailand. #KIWIX DOWNLOAD PATH FREE#I do not know, whether this is a bug, but while downloading the English version of Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia with 9.68 GB. I know, one can Move the ZIM files to any other storage location, ig memory stick, and by clicking on them, Kiwix opens them, but the Information one gets about every ZIM file stored at c:\user\Horst\AppData\roaming\is lost, when the files are stored somewhere else. ![]() So, maybe you could change the program and let the user choose, where to store the ZIM file, and let the program know, where they are stored. For backup reasons I would like to keep the OS separate from my own file. When downloading any ZIM file, it is as far as I see it, always stored at: c:\user\Horst\AppData\roaming\In my case, that is the partition, which contains the operating system (OS). ![]()
